Now available in a formula that lathers. No suds.
Potassium Palmate first.

In No.89 scent and Elite Scent. Both elegant.

I’ve seen this Floris formulation getting consistently positive reviews. Great to see these wonderful scents are again available in a worthy soap base.

Me to Geo. F. Trumper: are you taking note?

That T&H’s latest hard soap release (Apsley) also is PP-first, (atypically) has shea butter, and is easy to lather makes me wonder whether the two houses are using the same maker.

Well, we have some sleeper readers, because Floris US is already sold out of the No. 89 refill pucks and the Elite bowl/soap.

If it uses palm oil, I’m afraid I have some issues, but the palmitic acid may come from another source. I don’t know.

Nero, I went to Floris US site and when I tap on “full ingredients” I get a list that doesn’t have potassium palmate anywhere on it.  Sure not going to do foamy lather ever again in the life I have left.  Where did you pick up the potassium palmate first soap?

Interesting... They are showing the shave cream formula instead of the shave soap. I should do their proofreading Smile

BTW, the cream is EXCELLENT as well and deserve their own thread (I think there is one).

They should consider adding more scents to the line. But the No. 89 cream is beautiful. And probably has the best skin conditioning qualities of any cream I've used. And competes with the best soaps.

In fact, I used it today. An older formula, from probably 5 years ago. I also own and use the current formula (I think it's in my traveling gear bc I don't see it on the shelf). Can't say yet which is better...maybe the same.
