Evening all,

I was just wondering what people's experiences have been like with this brush? You don't hear much about it so I thought it deserved a thread.

Do any guys face lather with it? Do you find it's suited for creams or soaps?

I've only used mine a few times and have mixed feelings. Need to use it a bit more then i will post some observations.

Thanks

Dipesh

I don't own one, I do have an SOC boar, SOC 2-Band, and a 1470. I think you would be able to lather soaps and creams with it, and bowl or face lathering should not be a problem. I would face lather with it but that's only because I face lather 99% of the time.

Nice timing on this thread. I just got one yesterday and I'm breaking it in now. Only have one hand lather with it so I'm reserving judgment for a while. Probably won't even start forming an opinion for a week or so.

Along with the identical size Semogue 1800, the 1250 is one of my favorite brushes. I primarily use it t face lather soaps such as Mike's Natural, MWF, Tabac, Cella or to face lather Arko and otehr shave sticks.

It took a good number or weeks to break in, but it's one of the perfect brushes for me.

I have the 1250 and its a decent brush, but since I face lather I have the same problem with this brush that I've had w/ all other boars, w/ the exception of the Pro 49, it doesn't hold enough lather for more than 2 decent passes.

Tom , use more product and clean the brush every month or so with white vinegar , lime away or even , scrubbing bubbles spray.
