I generally don't like doing these, but I like this community. I may be young (24) and new to wet shaving, but it's sure to be a lifelong passion.

This was taken in March, 2011. It was my first visit to Washington, D.C. in almost 50 years.

This is me in the green chaps and my future son in law putting up wood in November 2010 that I am burning this year.

And this is my wife in her chainsaw safety gear. Gotta love a woman who loves to cut wood.

Yes, I am often asked how I trained the females in the household to do outside chores. I did not train them. They took to it naturally. My wife loves the chain saw. She doesn't fell the trees. But she is great at bucking it to firewood length.

My daughter is not fond of the chain saw and lacks the body mass to wield the axe. but she is great at hauling and stacking firewood.

She hauled and stacked this 2 cords by herself while my wife cut and split.

Hi Gary

Not to take away anything from your "beautiful wife" and yourself, but the photo of "Great Uncle Alex Simpson" with Queen Elizabeth II makes this expat (very) proud to be British Euro

Take care, Mike

I'm not even British, but she is the only woman I know of that I would bow to. I quite admire her for some reason.

There are a lot of 'non-royalist' brits over here - a lot of it seems to be because of the cost of the royalty to the tax payer, etc.
I look at the fact that she has been in a 'job' for 60 years this year that I am sure is extremely demanding in its own right. We sometimes forget her age now as well. I am a proud royalist and love the fact that we still have a royal family here.
