Hello, friends. Long time lurker, first time poster. Smile
Some time ago I received 3 handles from Steve (oscar11) and just wanted to show you these beauties.

- In this one I've put a 22mm Finest XH from TGN at 52mm loft. The handle has a 24mm opening. After some testing I decided (at least for me) that a finest knot needs a little bigger hole and 50+ mm loft to be comfortable. It's that or I just got lucky but the bristles feel pillow soft when wet (when dry the are little prickly and the tips are hooked). I'll test another 2-3 times but probably I'll glue it like this.

- This one had originally 22mm hole but I've made it 24mm and put a 24mm silvertip grade A (again from TGN) at 48mm loft. The knot is densely packed and very soft even dry. Overall it needs a little more product but the feel is quite different (wall of hair) and I'll probably leave it like this.

- This one has a 22 STA Fan at 52mm loft. At first the loft was lower but it felt a little prickly. I've expanded the hole a little and raised the loft a bit. It turned out good, but it'll be probably best with creams.

Nice looking brushes. The handles look great and the TGN knots are excellent both in looks and performance.

Something that I also like about those handles is , that it doesnt matter if you put a fan or bulb shaped badger hair knot on them , either a 3 band or 2 band ...they all look stunning which whatever hair grade or knot shape!
