What did you get to add to your nook this month?

I just received a new wooden bowl of Floris JF shaving soap.

Well, my "mint and unused" Yardley gift set arrived with half of the aftershave gone, so I have to return it. Which means I will have wasted nearly $25 on postage here and back, due to eBay's terrible policies. Idiots.

O.K., we won't talk about Sept. I received a tub of Simpson SC and a tub of TOBS Mr. Taylor SC today. Unfortunately, I have more SC coming.

I have a tub of the Mr. Taylor's and like it. I haven't tried the Simpsons SC yet, so I'll look forward to hearing your impressions.

I've seen that on eBay and wondered about it. Let us know how you like it.

Well, the current month is being devoted to shave sticks, after October I'll get around to using it.

There is an ebay member who I think has a lot of these because I keep seeing them pop up with the same pics. Anyway, he puts one up it's likely that you can get it for pretty cheap. I got mine for around $16.50 shipped or something like that.

I believe that I was watching that same yardley set, and I wasn't able to tell if that bottle was full, that's why I never bid on it. I probably wouldn't have bid anyway, only because I wouldn't want the lotion. I would just like to try the soap. I don't believe they put it in the description if the bottle was missing liquid.

I just got this in from The Portugal Online Store. Its a 2 piece scuttle they call Estremoz. Made in Portugal from their famous red clay. This is glazed and can be nuked with no problem. It is very big and heavy.

Got this E3 Gillette Fat Boy today from a friend at work. It was his Dads, It had a lot of grime on it. I cleaned it up and it works just fine... Paid $20.... I'm getting ready for a test drive. He has several more razors from his pop and is digging them out... I'll post as soon as I figure out what he has...[Image: d5l45.jpg][Image: jqnle0.jpg][Image: 6o0pcz.jpg]

Love that Portuguese scuttle! Is that real vintage OS SC?

I've got this big beauty of a handle on the way. Its not quite finished yet, just a teaser photo to get me salivating. I'll use it my my EJ head and perhaps some vintage Gilletes.

OM! Neat stuff!

All I'm looking forward to is a Chubby 1 Best from GMofMiami. It doesn't have the cool factor of the others, but it's a brush I've been wanting to try and I simply couldn't ignore the price. By far, my biggest brush.

Oh, a handle from Oscar11 is coming in too. That should be pretty cool! He already sent one that seemingly evaporated in the mail. Weeks of waiting for the first seemed fruitless, so a second should be coming. Local USPS is really screwing up. I sent a package to the UK and haven't seen my change, receipt, tracking number, or anything yet. Normally it's next day.
