I am not "Teiste" but I do own these brushes and the Silvertip Badger resembles the white foro afeitado 2019 silvertip badger.
The boar brush is exactly the same as the TSN 2018.
The silver tip badger really is the great, I have never seen such a comparable three-band tip before. But first to the dimensions;
24mm 3-band silvertip knot
50mm loft
SOC handle /tortoise resin 58mm
The brush has a high hair density with soft tips and very good backbone. A certain similarity exists with the 3/band silvertip hair from the white Semogue Foroafeitado 2019.
Of course I have the advantage that I have a prototype here and the tips are a dream, the backbone is nice and firm, mixed with a very good flow and good flexibility.

Although I actually prefer two bands I have to make an exception in this case, the ratio of softness to firmness is perfectly given here and for a three-band a wonderful feeling in the face.

I received my boar brush a week and a half ago, have used it 19 times (shave twice a day). I think it needs time to become a good brush for me, good backbone for sure, bit prickly (Discovered why my brush feels prickly, there where some thick black hairs inside the knot, you can see two in the picture), doesn't release the soap easily (it stays inside the knot). Doesn't open up as much as most boars when dry. A month from now it might be a completely different brush. Mine is very very dark with only a faint tortoise color but that is ok.

Bummer that your boar knot isn't quite "there" yet - hopefully it will be soon......Meanwhile, my badger version did arrive this evening. I've already given it an initial lathering session, and will put it to actual use either late tomorrow, or the day after. Will post my overall impressions then. What I can say now is that I'm very impressed thus far with how soft the tips are.

The 3-Band does not get the recognition it deserves. I own the 2018 TSN in both Boar and 2-Band and used to own the 2013 LE Olive Wood. The latter had great tips but was not as dense as I would have liked it.The Semogue 2 Bands are good, but also lack some density and occasionally softness. The Boars are great - though I own exactly two Boars.
Now back to the the 3-Band 2020 TSN: this brush is a gem! Soft tips, the right density (much more dense than the 2013 LE) and a short loft with a great handle make this a perfect face latherer!
Thanks to Phil and Semogue making this an excellent 3-Band brush, easily overlooked in the 2-Band hype.
Grab one while you can!
