Gentlemen,

The Feather stainless steel folding razor is, in my opinion, the best of the western style straight razors with replaceable blades. In addition, the one I offer here is the special edition in Scotch wood scales. It’s a handsome razor and a great shaver. It uses the Feather Artist Club blades and gives an efficient and comfortable shave. I have used it couple times, so it just sits in the rack and wags its tongue at me. I might as well pass it on to someone who would use it more. The razor is in near mint condition. The price includes U.S. shipping. New, the razor is priced around $150. Your price is $115. Price reduced to $100. Now the razor is priced to go at $80. It is in near mint condition. Paypal is fine. No trades, please. Thanks.

Thanks, Joseph. Yes, it is a superb shaver, and quite handsome, especially in the Scotch wood handle. Alas, for me, the straight razor shave is slowly coming to an end. Arthritis is catching up with me.

Hi Guys. Forgive me for eavesdropping. But if I may veer tangentially... Obie, I’m in the same boat. The heavier razors are just less comfortable lately. I’m currently offerring two of my heavier razors for that same consideration. While I still enjoy the “weightier“ RR Lupo, Weber Wave/GC oc, and my Asylum Rx handle/iKonOSS combo, most of my shaves now are with the lighter Gillette Techs. I’ve also mated a repro ball end handle with a game changer head. Now there’s a combo! Light and efficient.

Please resume the discussion of the folding Feather razor Smile

Charlie, my friend,
Age takes a toll on the hands, for sure. The Feather SS is a fairly light razor, but arthritis in my hands makes any straight razor a wee bit awkward to hold, in both hands. The same with heavy safety razors. I had to give up my stainless steel Timeless and go for the titanium version. Ah well, life goes on. Anyway, the Feather SS in the Scotch wood handle is about as sweet as they come — straight razors with replaceable blades. Good stuff.

Gentlemen,
This is the last call on the razor. If you’re looking to start straight razor shaving, or want a fine shaver for travel, or need to add a variation to your razor lineup, then this Feather is for you. And it’s a handsome razor to have in your shave den.
