Now that Halloween is right around the corner, what Halloween candy will you be buying for yourself? Time to go to Costo for those huge 5 lb bags. Biggrin

What are your all-time favorites?

I too like the candy corn. But an equal favorite is orange slices.

Being a complete Halloween junkie I couldn't say. I love candy. Peanut butter cups have to be on top of the list, and anything gummy.

I like the miniature peanut butter cups and the peanut butter chews that come in the orange and black wax paper wraps.

A BIG ditto on the candy corn and orange slices. Two of my favorites. I also like hard candy like jaw breakers.

Hot Tamales and chocolate covered peanuts and I don't mean those wimpy little Goober's..the big honkin' peanuts with a super thick milk chocolate coating they make at mom and pop candy stores.
I can gnaw through several pounds of both those types of candy in no time, so I don't keep them around very often.

The Turkish Pepper Candy sounds interesting! Is it a hard candy or a chewy candy? Any idea on where I could find it?

The one that i like is the hard candy variant and i believe its the original sort, but now they have some soft chewy variant to i think. The producer is the finishbased company Fazer.

Well i cant help you where to buy it. In Sweden and i belive rest of scandinavia you could find them in every store that sell candy. They are very popular.

But heres one importer based in Usa and the price seems to be pretty fair for being imported candy.

Ikea stores could have it. If you plan visit one of their stores you could always check out. Good luck!

Thank you Johan. If I cannot find it at Ikea I will see if one of my relatives in Chicago can look in Andersonville (Swedish neighborhood) for me.
