Gents,
I have pre-ordered a Henson Ti22 razor.  Yes, I know it’s a sickness...I need another razor like I need more soap or brushes...
(My experience with Henson’s AL13 was that it was just too mild for me.  I eventually gave the AL13 to my 87 yo father and he loves it.)

Since I was concerned with the rigidity of the design and the overall mild-ness of the Henson, I asked them about their “aggressive” model.  The Henson data chart (below) is in inches, where most razors are in mm...therefore, it was confusing to compare to other razors that work for me.  After the response from Henson (below), I am looking forward to trying out the “aggressive” Ti22.

If you have pre-ordered a Henson, let me know your thoughts!!

Pete

From Henson:
“For your aggression, is so hard to judge what an individual's preference is going to be, but I'm going to give it a try for you. Our experience has been that the way our razors are designed causes a milder shave when directly comparing it to another razor with an equal blade gap.

So, if you are saying that our Aggressive matches up with the specs of the Christopher Bradley "C", my guess is that you want to stick with Aggressive and the you are going to find it slightly milder than the Christopher Bradley.”

Pete, thanks for taking time to reach out to Henson and share the response. The Karve C is a good benchmark for me, so Aggressive will likely suit me much better than the Mild and Medium options.
