hey peeps, ive ordered 200 gillette nacets the other day and awaiting delivery,

so ive read that some peeps seem to compare it with the gillette rubies but some say its as good, not as good or even better,
so im wondering from your lots experience, which would you say is better? thanks saj

p.s according to ebay uk the cost of the gillette rubies compared to the nacets is at least more then twice the price!

They're both made in Russia.

Yes, I use them frequently. Very smooth. Cuts are infrequent even with an aggressive razor.
I like Kai (very sharp), Gillette Platinum, Polsiver and Super Iridum as well. I've had good and not so good batches of red Personna.
I am not particular about where they're made.

I used a nacet for the first time today. All I can say is WOW!! What a great blade. It was super smooth, sharp, and mild. So, I was able to get a BBS with only a couple of weepers.
I haven’t tried the rubies yet, but would highly recommend the nacet. Especially, if you get irritation easily.

I do not get the hype on the Nacet blades. For me I rate them about equal with Merkur blades or maybe the green Derby blades. I've really tried to like them as so many seem to love them but used in 3 different razors I just can not get them to stop pulling. And, I do not have a tough beard. But, as it's been said YMMV LOL
