OK, now I have officially been left behind by the relentless march forward of ridiculousness.

Yes indeed; what's next, Olympic Line Dancing?!
Olympic shaving!
With double edge, single edge, cartridge, and straight edge classes, plus separate with-the-grain, against-the-grain, and across-the-grain events. Maybe even team syncopated competition...

For cricket one need to build quite big field/stadium, for breakdance nothing is really needed. Let's prepare that will be more such disciplines. Olympics is business and business do not like costs... life is brurtal.

the Olympics was ridiculous when restarted in modern times. how does throwing a cannonball (shot put) equate with sport. not even rambo would throw a javelin. how about throwing the hammer (thor's?) jumping over a stick with or without a pole is just too exciting to see. and then in winter, we have curling, two men chasing a ceramic disk sliding on the ice with little brooms.
break dancing is is at least interesting to watch and in a small area rivals open floor gymnastic events and ice skating/dancing.

John, you know I’m not a young buck. I remember living in NYC in the late ‘70s when break dancing was “fresh.” And I saw it, in its rudimentary form, on many busy sidewalks. I suggest all y’all (I also lived in Texas) watch some video of today’s world-class break dancers. The skill and athleticism far surpasses, say, curling. In fact, it’s mind-boggling.
