So I bought a "Fat Handle Old" for a reasonable price. Seller said there were no cracks in the handle. "I thought, shoot I gotta buy this I don't care if it isn't a Bulldog Old- no cracks, OC, worth it!"

This showed up today.

Nice grab. Biggrin That's exactly what it looks like to me. Did you buy that from someone on etsy? I saw the same one or similar.

No, it was on another site's BST.

It was under 15 bucks shipped and the transaction was nothing but problems. I was surprised to find a razor in the package honestly.

What would that Gillette head be from? Bottom is marked with diamond logo and "Made in U.S.A"

I'm no expert with vintage Gillette razors, but it looks like this one. It is described as a Gillette Old Type open comb razor head with a Gillette Fat Handle. Hope this helps, but maybe others will chime in.

It sure is an OLD head and a fat Tech handle. I have one about like it. With the OLD style heads... watch your blade position when tightening it down. The buttons allow the blades to shift. Make sure it is even on both sides of the head when its tight. The OC OLD is on the aggessive side but delivers a good shave!

I would just chime in with the others. The handle is most likely from an early Tech... I have one just like it on a Canadian Tech with the triangular cutouts (best Tech model in my opinion). I had a couple of Old types with heads that looks just like yours too. They had cracks in their handles of course...
