I want to show you how I lather with a triple milled shaving soap.
I'm going to be using two very famous UK made shaving soaps : the Geo F Trumper Rose and Almond ones
I got both of them at Bullgoose Shaving for a crazy price (flash sale) : https://bullgooseshaving.com/collections/geo-f-trumper
The Rose one has the Pottasium Palmate as first ingredient and the Almond has the Sodium Palmate as first ingredient.
Will they lather ? You bet they will ! There's only one secret : to load the brush with the soap like there's no tomorrow.

I also picked up the Trumper soap in Violet at Bullgoose. It is definitely the hardest soap I have ever used, but it lathers very well when you kind of figure it out. I have used it twice so far and I'm sure it will get better as I use it more. I definitely have to load the brush reasonably aggressively.

Nice video, Teiste. The potassium palmate v. sodium palmate debate goes on.
I agree that the BullGoose sale of Trumper soaps has crazy prices one cannot pass up. I picked up a Eucris in the wood bowl, and the bowl alone was worth the price. All that remains are the Trumper violet shaving soap refills, which are a total bargain at $5.00. I'm surprised any of these remain in stock.

The Eucris soap bowl is a piece of art for being a wooden bowl.
Good choice , my friend

My shaves have been great. This formula lists potassium palmate and sodium palmate as the first two ingredients. The first time I used it, I didn't realize there was a film or some type of covering over the soap and I had a very hard time getting lather out of it obviously. Even as thin as the lather was, the shave was still very good, smooth with no irritation. When I was using it and realized it had to film on it, I took it off and it definitely lathered much better (obviously). The smell is definitely on the milder side. You can definitely smell it, but it doesn't overpower.
