I’m aware of day drinking as a thing. This isn’t about that.
Dayshaving.. the idea as a concept came to me in conversation with a forum friend. You see, I have more time on my hands. I was lucky enough to be able to retire in early January. It’s pretty excellent, even during a pandemic. It’s great not being responsible to anyone but my family. I sleep until 9:30 most days, take daily walks in the park with my wife, practice and play guitar for 2-3 hours a day, and have the added bonus of being able to take a leisurely, relaxing shave in front of a midday, sunlit bathroom mirror. It’s a wonderful change from decades of early morning and late evening shaves. I highly recommend it as a general practice.
To Dayshaving!

Mike, it’s a blast! I’m reading through my library of theory and technique books, and continuing to work on arranging and composing. The really excellent thing is having the consecutive hours on consecutive days which is a gift

I have yet to learn any of that stuff. Consistency and repetition is key. I have been winging it for like 38 years. That works well for me sometimes, but also hurts me sometimes. I'll be working on something and just get stuck. I'm learning some songs and getting them down and I am trying to play more. Especially since I just bought a 2019 Gibson SG Standard.
