Charlie, those turned out great.  Chris is the man for razor replating.

You’re absolutely correct, Ricardo. Chris does excellent restoring and replating work. I’ve lost count of the razors he’s beautified for me. Must be around a half dozen. These two 40s Techs are squirreled away, earmarked for as yet unknown heirs.

Picked up a Timeless Plaid handle used with a polished cap and base 0.95 gap. I also grabbed a "scratch and dent" polished Barber Pole handle from Timeless. All in I'm at $170. I feel pretty good about this deal, especially since the plaid is currently out of stock. It's like getting 2 kick ass razors.

Awesome! My first Timeless was that basic smooth cap and smooth safety bar with the plaid handle. When I got mine the plaid handle was discounted. It was a great deal. I will never be without a Timeless .95.

Nice! I have the Timeless Bronze 0.38 scalloped cap and love it. I had my eye on the plaid and barbershop pole handle. Wasn't sure which I wanted. Now I have both and I was deciding between the smooth and the scalloped cap on the SS. I'm sure the smooth will look great. Can't wait to see how they look in person. It was a great deal, so if I don't like something I'm sure I can find interested parties.

Garrett, that’s a beautiful brush! I’ll bet the knot is delightfully soft. Thanks for sharing and enjoy Smile

Timeless 0.95 SS Plaid handle purchased used and a Polished Barber Pool handle bought from Timeless as a "Scratch and Dent". I was unable to find any imperfections. Interesting shave. Will post my impressions later on after at least one more shave or so.
