Blade exposure differences between Raw Shaving RS-18 and RS-10. Although they have the same GAP, they cut differently. What do you think?

I don't know what I think as I dont know if they have really the same blade gap. Also, have you used the mild or aggressive base plate on the RS-10 for the picture?

I have both the RS-10 (with both plate) & RS-18 and yes they shave differently.

Blade gap is one thing, but there is a couple of other mesure that needed to be taken into account to evaluate how a razor shave/feel. Too much people fall into the trap of "blade gap"...

You're right, I forgot to write that in the comparison, on the RS-10, I applied the baseplate "A". I agree with you, the blade gap does not determine the effectiveness of the razor and I have ascertained that both razors shave differently. I'm sorry that the Italian post office lost my RS-18 and I'm trying to buy another one but I haven't found it yet  Sad  Sad Sad

I have an RS-18. It's great. I love it. So I have a strong curiosity and expectation about rs-10. Hope to have a chance to buy an rs-10 in the future!

The shaving experience with the Raw Shaving RS-10 is very similar to the RS-18. Surely the RS-10 is an effective, beautiful and excellent build quality razor. I consider it slightly more effective than the RS-18 when combined with the "A" baseplate. For my beard there is nothing better, yet I have tried 136 razors of all kinds and costs but the BBS I get with the Raw twins is unmatched. I am really sorry that Avi Gilor is no longer producing them because they are a true masterpiece from every point of view.

Thank you for your reply, sir!

They all look great!

Looking forward to the chance to buy rs-10 in the future

I like RS-18 very much. I think I can love rs-10 as well as RS-18

Great pictures! I hope that if the original manufacturer is not willing to produce a new edition, maybe someone else will do it (I am thinking of the Tradere case). Who knows!

I hope Avi Gilor or someone in the industry can invest and put these two great razors back on the market, so others can enjoy great shaves too...

The 18 is one of my absolute favorite razors.  I bought a stock pile of inserts and have enough to last a long time.
I never tried the 10 and am bummed that Raw is gone.  I tried to buy a 10 right after they closed down, but it was too late.
I even went to Neiman Marcus since they were selling the razor.
The problem now is folks have inflated prices for unobtainium.  It is a free market so all the more power to them, but I doubt I will ever splurge for a 10.
I hope they will sell the designs to someone else that could reproduce.
Steve
