Hey there! My dad has this gillette brush that's over 30 years old. He brought it with him from the middle east in the 80s. It says made in England on the bottom, which twists off and seems to have a compartment.

I was wondering if anybody had any gillette brushes, not referring to the terrible new ones with the nylon bristles.

I'm trying to convince him to let me reknot it but he has too much sentimental value as is and I can't blame him[Image: fe6afaefac5e4a6a091d9ea225cf5b30.jpg]

That brush can definitely use a new knot. I've never seen so many black bristles in a boar knot.  However, I can understand your father's reluctance.  Perhaps he'll reconsider if you give him a new boar brush to try out.
