Cheap ceramic jar with bamboo lid. Sanded lid and refinished to match mahogany shelves then cut slot and added brass coin slot. Under $20.

That’s the classiest looking blade bank I’ve seen. Agreed on the coin slot; nice touch.

Very nice "blade bank."  I use a stealthy container for mine.  I use an empty vitamin bottle.  Just cut a slot in the top.  Not very classy, but it was on the shelf in the bathroom for months before my wife noticed a slot in the top of the vitamins and asked "what the heck?"  Sneaky.  When it gets full, I can toss it and make another one.  I have yet to determine if my vitamin consumption rate matches my rate of blade use...
