Have been doing plenty of field work recently, so decided to reward myself with some luxury creams.

Nice acquisitions, Tom.  Trumper Spanish Leather and Eucris are excellent, classic scents.

Charlie, I've always thought that the Vulfix 2230 series had beautiful handles.  About 10 years ago I had a 2236, which is the largest in the series.  The knot was too floppy for me, but I wish I had kept the brush and put a different knot in it.

I had my eye on the 2235 for some time, Ricardo. It’s a very graceful design. I’ve been using it’s smaller brother, a 2234 with a faux bone handle for a little while. It’s been fun! I really appreciate the difference in face feel variations in density produce. My frame of reference are Simpson, Elite, Semogue and Epsilon brushes which are all more densely packed than the Vulfix. I’ve never tried a Kent brush, but I understand they’re generally more similar to Vulfix than any of the others.

Above The Tie CR 1 0.58mm Copper Base Plate. Purchased as a return. As you can se it has some light superficial scratches and a few dings. To me, for 50% off, totally worth it. Look forward to using it.

I don't usually care for coconut scents, but Trumper coconut is an exception.  It's a very nice scent.   I have the old Trumper tallow soap in coconut. and like a lot.

I like coconut scents but they have to be right so to speak. I had the TOBS coconut cream and loved it. I wanted it in a tube but couldn't seem to find it for some reason. From just smelling a bit on my finger, the Trumper seems to smell good. I just hope the splash from Stirling smells great, also. Coconut just has a nostalgic twist to it for me, it reminds me of summer and the boardwalk down the shore here in NJ when I was a kid.
