I can usually determine the resale value of a brush, but I've never tried to sell off a LE brush before.

The Shavemac Horn (and the upcoming wood ones) have reminded me that shavemac makes my favorite brushes, but to afford one, I need to sell off other assets.

What kind of value does a twice used Semogue 2011 LE Finest Badger size 2 hold? Does a LE make a brush lose less value than a brush normally would? Are they only worth good $ years after production?

What's a Shavemac addict to do?

Doug, I can only suggest what I do. Go to the various shaving forums sites and do a keyword search (perahps "Semogue"), then look at all the BST listings for the last couple years that come up for your particular model and make a note of the selling prices. From that you can derive a range of prices. Then just choose a starting price somewhere in that range.

Doug, Vintage Scent sill has some of the brushes. They're selling for $106 plus shipping after conversion from Euro.

Hope that helps.

Well that certainly devalues the freaking thing now doesn't it? BAH. Thanks Dave, that at least is very helpful.

The only Limited Editions that seem to fetch far higher than cost is the Astor, the GYLE's, and a few of the other Simpsons.

Post it up, start at $75 and work your way down I say.

The only brush I have that seems to be worth more than what I paid is my CH2 its virtually flawless, I've had a few people try to buy/trade it from me lol..
