I'll go first!
I just received in the mail a Parker four piece travel razor.
I'll try it a few times, then put up a review.
I'm still excited by simple stuff, I guess!

P.S. Tried it out today. It shaves just about like a Gillette Super-Speed, Merkur 89, or Gillette Tech. Nothing to brag about, but did the job nicely. There seemed to be a lot of blade showing, but didn't seem to impact the shave (it was just the design, I guess). Though I'm a New Guy here (still learning as I go), I should think this head would perform very differently with different blades; it'll be fun experimenting.

OOPS! I did it again! (With apologies to Britney Spears.) I've acquired THREE razors in July... and it's only the 10th of the month! Maybe I need therapy.
My Fat Boy arrived a few days ago. I finally got around to cleaning it up (dish soap and alcohol) and checked the blade gap. Its gap on ONE side ranges from .010 to .032. On the OTHER side the gap is from .011 to .035. Not a perfect adjustment range by any means, and the two sides of the razor don't match, but I can deal with it.
IMHO, it's a pretty one:

It's an F-1 (1960). I know it's popular for folks to get a "birth year" razor, and now I've got one!
While it's not *MY* birth year, I'm sure *SOMEONE* was born in 1960. Yay!
:-)
I've got to quit buying old Gillettes...
