Every year, except for last year, my wife and I have gone to Keuka Lake for our decompression time.  Being business owner/operators for the past 3 years, we can't do the week long trips like we used to.  But even the overnighter is nice.  This morning, it was one of our Cinnamon Chip scones we make in the cafe' and pour over Columbian Anei from our roaster, Kobrick Coffee.  Ahhh.

Enjoy your downtime, Ron. These moments are precious! It looks like a quiet and relaxing day at the lake. We enjoyed Keuka more than once during one of our many roundtrips from NY to Buffalo. Have a great getaway!

There's much to be said for the weekend getaway.  A Friday to Sunday getaway in the Florida Keys feels like we were far away for a long time.

On a separate topic, perhaps we can make an exception to our BST rules so you can sell your  scones here.

I'll have a dozen. We also need some type of virtual coffee infuser/server for members. Set up on the honor system, of course. I'll keep an eye out... Sherlock

Locally, my wife has become known as The Queen of Scones.  She has  quite a few different ones she does.  Sweet, savory, seasonal... it's a nice rotation.  Our Christmas scones, which are available everyday, are a combo of dried cranberries, oatmeal and pecans with yogurt as the binder.  They travel well.  The White Chocolate Raspberry Scones sell out every time we put them on the counter.
