365 days and $12,974.930.00 later and here I am at 1 Year in The Nook!!! I know the last year or more has been crazy for all of us. I know our shared love and interest in this hobby has helped us all somehow, even if just to bring a tinge of normality to a crazy world just simply taking a great shave. I never would have imagined I would end up in a group comprised fo shaving "fans", "hobbyists", "enthusiasts", etc. Or be one! But here I am. And these is something be said for taking what really seems universally a dreaded chore and making it actually fun and enjoyable. And perhaps even occasionally costly!!!
That said, it has been interesting to say the least to see myself evolve in the last year from someone who just learned to enjoy the traditional wet shave, to learning so many more of the aspects of what is involved and what makes the shaves, products, hardwares, softwares, etc perform they way they do. How my initial impression would have been, "Great shave, I didn't bleed!", to some more technical things such as blade feel, aggressiveness/efficiency, post shave performance, and so much more. All things I learned from reading others thoughts and impressions on aspects of a shave and products I had never even realized existed. Not sure that process will ever end. And I'm good with that.
Most importantly, the support, encouragement, and participation from everyone here is what really makes it. being encouraged to post and finding that people read posts, thoughts, impressions and take what you say with interest. Even having been the newbie here as it were, it felt good to be taken seriously and you had something useful for someone to read. As I'm sure my thoughts, impressions and how I try things will evolve. It seems just about anyone can take a way something from others experience. And that's amazing.
"Keep Shaving, Keep Sharing!!!"

Thank you. It was a great realization be able to post in an place with so many that seem to know so much more, but realize we all something valid to say and that so many love these products and are genuinely interested in how they work for others. I remember your encouragement early on. It helped me to build my confidence to post my thoughts.

Thank you! I'm thinking that is a reasonably round, wildly inaccurate number. Definitely into the thousand/s, though. Once I started picking up some Timeless and Blacklands. But nowhere near the $13k mark. Haha! But have, like most, been rotating all sorts of stuff in and out somewhat regularly.
