EDIT: Wee Scot found. Thanks everyone. I'm keeping this ad up here just in case someone with a Nano Scot feels like selling it. Biggrin

I've returned to small brushes recently, and would like to pick up a Wee Scot or a Nano Scot.

Let me know if you have one for sale or trade. I have a large collection of brushes, straights, safety razors, hones, etc.

Thanks.

What exactly is a 'nano scot'?

Just curious...

When the first Wee Scot was introduced many, many years ago, it was smaller than the current version. That would be a nano scot.

There were two sizes of Wee Scot to begin with. Only the larger of the 2 still is made. Definitely would be awesome to own! Cool

This is only partially true. There were three Wee Scot sizes made.

The 1 - which is now commonly referred to as the 'nano'
The 2 - which is still made, and is today's current Wee Scot
The 3 - which is still made, and is today's Case

Biggrin

I once corresponded with Gary Young and he told me that the Case was Wee Scot II, but they decided to name it Case. I own a Wee Scot and the Case and I can say that I prefer Case for everyday use. It is just about a perfect brush for me. Commodore is also very nice small brush, but I seem to prefer the Case. It's definitely got the Wee Scot character to it with a more manageable handle. Great little brush for everyday and travel. Dries fast, too.
