Been back DE shaving since October 2020 and actually enjoy it.  I find I do prefer very mild razors with sharp blades.

I'm considering getting a SE razor for the fun of it and think I would like a vintage one.  I've looked at couple of modern razors but no more than I'm going to use it think something vintage would be more fun for me.

Any recommendations for this mild shaver?

Schick Type I injector. The razor is milder than the G type and paired with a Chick blade, it’d be exactly what you’re looking for.

For se, try a gem featherweight , g bar, push button or contour.  I enjoyed the push button and contour better than the others.

I strongly recommend injectors as they are the mildest SE i ever tired.  A model J, k, l, or n with a gold pack schick blade is easy shaving.

Sorry. A pseudonym for Chinese Schick.

Thank you for all suggestions about a vintage SE razor!  But for the condition of the razors, and price sellers are asking including shipping, I'm thinking I might be better off to just get the current Parker injector.  Parker's reviews have been good and appears to be a mild razor.  One reviewer who likes mild razors even stated he likes the Parker better than his Schick Type M.  Final decision not made yet but that is how I'm leaning.....

Nothing so far.  For medical reasons I've given up on this project though a couple members did offer some razors.  Probably revisit in couple months after I get some medical stuff done and can shave regularly again.

Try a G Bar, if you are going vintage. Vary well balanced, nice weight. I can send some blades if you go with GEM type.
