This is why I should not be allowed an internet connection and a credit card, then left unmonitored. All polished Titanium, spiral handle with .68 & .95 baseplates and stand. Been looking at the Titanium Timeless for a while and this was too good a deal to pass up. I think I need to go back to dial up internet so I have time to think about the consequences of my actions when I click "Buy Now".

Thanks Bax! I’m inclined to agree. It was almost a perfect storm of the actual razor I wanted. I wanted the spiral handle, polished, but I did want the scalloped cap. I was also debating on which base place I wanted, but since this one came with both, it gives me the chance to try both. I didn’t like the .95 with the stainless, but I know the titanium is a different metal and a different weight so this experience could be different. I also have never tried their .68 so I’m looking forward to starting with that one.

Thanks! Yes, they do. The ones that I currently own, as soon as I pick them up they just have an incredibly solid, well-built feel. You can really feel the quality when you hold them. This is my first titanium razor so I’m looking forward to it. And this Timeless is the one that I was considering the most.

Whether you're on a roll or not!

I'm sure I will. I am curious to see if the 0.95 feels different in the titanium vs. SS. I have also not tried their 0.68 yet, so I feel a comparison will be due. It may be a few, I am still in my blade, experiment. I may make the exception for this though, and interrupt. I also have a RazoRock Game Changer I just got and haven't tried yet.

I'm newer to this "hobby" than you guys, but one of my biggest challenges is that I have TOO MUCH STUFF to test - and can only shave once per day! I have a couple of different creams to try, a few different razors, a few different after-shave balms, and several different blades. If I change more than one variable at a time, it screws up the experiment. Unfortunately, I have an incredible lack of patience! I'm sure you're better at this whole "patience" thing than I am, Mike! Good luck!

Nope. Not patient at all. Haha!!! This blade experiment will be my longest one. It just so happens that it worked out that I acquired so much so quick. I had to jump on the Timeless titanium. I had wanted one but was undecided about the base plate, so with both base plates, the handle I wanted, and all polished, I couldn't not get it. August will be a busy shaving month!!!

Stumbled across an estate sale of a set of razors. $50. Dunno if I got taken or not...

The plastic handle Tech X2 (1952) has a head that's in rough shape; perhaps not salvageable.
The generic Super Speed is an X3 (1952).
The Gold Super-Speed is a no-notch -- I think it's a 1946 Milord, based on the number of rings, knurling, and the smooth spot above the TTO knob.
The Super Speed Black Tip is an X2 (1952) as well; the tip is plastic (as are most of the Black Tips).
None of these are what I would call "excellent" condition, but all (but the black handle Tech) are in good enough condition that they won't be embarrassing on my shelf.
I'll likely PIF 3 of them to relatives (who I am slowly converting to appreciate the virtues of wet shaving... bwahahaha!). The black handled Tech might go into my camping stuff because it's a beater.
Not sure if $50 was a good price for these, or if my newbie-ness was showing.
