Do you take your blade out each time and dry everything out, or am I over-the-top in my Razor Maintenance Routine?

It can get gross otherwise.

Some to, some don't.
I rinse my razor under very hot water (I've overclocked* my water heater, so I can easily get 85°C water in the bathroom tap) and let it steam off. Every once in a while I give my razors a good clean.

I sort of do ....
Most of my razors are 3-piece (but I have one Rex Ambassador adjustable too)
So after my shave I take it apart, and rinse each piece in hot water. I even have a small fingernail brush for to keep soap-scum build-up. Then I dry each part with a hand towel.
I like to get three shaves out of a blade, so to dry it I lay it flat on a towel and just pat it wit the towel.
Then I re-assemble and put it in the stand.

Yes, I do. I disassemble, wipe down the base plate, cap, and handle. It is just a habit I picked up since the start that seemed like something that was done. I just don't like leaving the stuff wet personally anyway. Just giving it a pat down after shaving just isn't enough for me. Then I reassemble and dry down the complete razor with a little shine.

I dry my blade and let it stick on a magnet till the next shave. Toss after 3rd or 4th shave depending on how it feels. The razor I towel dry, reassemble and hang till next shave. Once a week or every other week I'll give the razor I've been using most a good towel scrub to remove any soap scuz.

After the first shave with a blade I rinse the razor under hot water for a couple seconds, loosen it a bit, and put it on the shelf.
After the second shave I rinse the razor under hot water, take it apart, toss the blade, and leave the parts to dry on a wash cloth until the next morning.
Then I either reload it with a new blade or reassemble and put on the shelf for rotation.
When it looks gungy, I wash it with a couple drops of dishwashing soap and a toothbrush.
That was for DE.
For SE or GEM, I go a few more shaves before tossing the blade.
I have a buddy who has a scientific-looking Ultraviolet Light unit, and he puts everything under there, after each shave I think. OoooKaaay. Whatever. I guess it works for him. I presume it’s for hospital-grade disinfection, or just because he likes that kind of stuff.
