Here is a interesting one I finished up this week end.
17/16 tapered to 15/16 Barbers notch.
The filing and scallops are blued.
Carbon fiber scales, aluminum wedge and stacked washers.

Another really beautiful razor. If I ever get the hand of straight razor shaving, I'd want to be using something as cool looking as this!

Blued... just like a gun barrel, a chemical reaction which turns the steel a blue/grey color.
For some info just search "gun blu" , "cold bluing" or "hot bluing"
That should give you plenty of info.
