Wtb Yates Razor

Gents, am looking for one. Am not sure how it shaves but a lot of folks admire it. Am a middle of the road guy and prefer mid aggressive razors ex CG Lvl 2.

If you have one to sell pls ping me. Am in India but have a USA address for you to ship.

Jagdeep, in my opinion, the Yates razor with an H baseplate shaves very similarly to a Blackbird.

The Yates razor is exceptional. The H plate is very efficient and smooth.

Thanks Alex. Unfortunately for me, I have not had a chance yet to use Blackland. My BB Ti is lying with a friend in USA for over 6 months alongwith a LUPO DLC.

Practically I am only left with a CG 2 on the DE side and am looking forward to acquire a few razors before getting them shipped to India. Should M be the right base plate to go with?

Most welcome! I consider myself “upper-middle” when it comes to razors’ aggressiveness and efficiency, with BB Ti being my MOST favorite razor. I would place the Yates H plate at that level of upper-mid aggressiveness. I used to have a CG Lvl2 and, to my recollection, the Yates H plate exhibits a similar level of aggressiveness, though the Yates H razor works  much more efficiently for me.
