I just bought Torchlight II on steam. A Diablo arpg clone if you ask.

I´m a Engineer (a steampunk warior) armed witha gigant axe and have a small pet companion by my side. The pappilion dog Dominator. (My parents have a cute little Domino) So its kind of a battle version of him. :-D

This if a freaking funny game and i belive i will spend quite much time on this one!

So what games do you like?

well, I don't game as much as I used to... but

City of Heroes (Villians, Going Rogue too), but I always take the characters to the Hero side

Counter-Strike (steam game)

Team Fortress 2 (steam game)

on console, I like to hamm it up with my friends (we are mostly of the late 30s and early 40s age groups) and play Rock Band (various artists, but Beatles have been great!)

and Madden Football

we also like to get together and play various board games, usually of the question/answer sort. Poker, Phase 10, Dominoes, Hearts, Spades, Mille Bourne

Biggrin

On the PC I don't play much - some Minecraft and a bit of Rise of Nations now and then.

On consoles? Oh my.. Half Life 2 + episode 1, 2 and 3, Portal 1 + 2, Bioshock series, Bad Company 1 and 2, Fable 1, 2 and 3, Dead Space 1 and 2, every single Silent Hill game, Halo 1, 2 and 3, and a smattering of others...

I will play Sony games when they come out (God of War, Resistance, Uncharted, and Killzone) but I mainly play on my iPad. I was a huge console gamer till iOS games started coming out. Now my ps3 is a Netflix machine with only the occasional game played on it.

Just picked up Madden 13 for xbox 360, awesome game! Other than that, I play all of the Call of Duty games when I get a chance.

I can see that you like horror games. Same here and i have played a lot of these kind of games. Like the 3 first in the Silen Hill series, Resident Evil 1,2, Dead Space and my absolut horror favorite: System Shock 2. the evil supercomputer Shodan must be the most perfect villain ever!

Btw. Did you know that Bioshock (Also a great game) is the spiritual sucessor to the System Shock games?

I don't play console games (at 41yrs old today's controllers at just too complicated for me to get accustomed to (a far cry from the Nintendo 64)). For the computer though I really enjoyed the original Combat Mission games from BattleFront.com

I don't play games very often, but when I do, I like the old ScummVM point and click games, such as the Monkey Island series.

I am a huge Minecraft fan, though I play on Xbox. I also am a Fallout and Elder Scrolls addict. I love retro games as well.

I'm a handheld and Nintendo junkie at heart. Lately I've been revisiting much of the Zelda series and am just about to finish up Wind Waker again. However, borrowing Mario Kart Wii from a friend had me a little distracted. I say "had" because my true passion released with a new game today...Pokemon Black 2. My time will be pretty well taken up with it for a while.

Non Nintendo games you ask? I was playing Black Mesa for a while and will get back into it in a bit. I also love Civilization 5, especially with the Gods & Kings expansion. Minecraft is fun here and there, I follow the updates at least. Then I have a huge list of Steam games I'm still needing to work though some day.

Torchlight 2 looks very fun though, when it goes on sale over winter I will probably pick it up.

Ahh Monkey Island. Now thats a series i really truly love. If you didnt now both the 1,2 have been realesed as remakes with bether graphic. My favorite has always been the 3rd and one character. Remember the giant scott Harris, the barber? "Hands of that comb, or i´ll have you banged you thieving dog" :-D

A 4th Monkey Island came out and is on Steam. I bought it but, haven't played it.

Three primary games I play are Team Fortress 2 on Steam, Orcs Must Die 2 on Steam, and League of Legends (DOTA Clone).

Love a good survival horror - Silent Hill Downpour was freaking awesome (and scary) Biggrin

I haven't played any of the System Shock games, but am eagerly waiting for BioShock Infinite... just a shame it got pushed back even further.
