Consumer Reports just published an article on heavy metals in spices and herbs. As my wife says, there is nothing left to eat.

We all got to die of something... imagine how stupid the health freaks are going to feel when they grow old and die of nothing.

If sourced from reliable sources and all that... herbs and spices are likely not more deadly today than during the Victorian era.

Curious that in scanning the list lots of the "problems" are by the class of spice, not mixed up within a single flavor.  E.g., all the Thyme & Oregano are suspect, while various peppers get the green lights ..  something native to the soil(s) of origin?
