One cannot argue that their knots are uncannily similar in feel. At the very least, it is more than fair to say that they're basically in the same tier of silvertip hair. (Work in progress, ask T about it).

Anyway, check out these photos. Oh, and "Frank" seems to have his own website now. Who knows how many Franks there are....

Frank Shaving Knots

TGN Knots

The plugs are the same color. Except for the one photo of the white colored plug.

The hair qualities match up uncannily. They look eerily similar too. For example:

TGN Silvertip Grade A = FS Silvertip
Finest = Finest
TGN Silvertip = FS Best
TGN Best = FS Pure (probably)*
TGN Pure = FS Mixed (possibly)*

* = unsure based on pictures

Anyway, it was interesting. They seem to have handles for sale too.

Absolutely...my one and only reknot has the TGN grade A Silvertip.
