Anyone heard from Larry from Cold River Soap Works?

The site has zero inventory. I've reached out twice via email and haven't heard back.

Hope all is well.

I was also wondering about Larry and CRSW.  He has not logged into TSN since June 16, 2021.  The Select and Olivia lines are gone from his website.  While Glide and Schapenmelk are still listed on the website, he has not had any inventory of either for some time.  I don't know if he has taken a temporary break from making soap or is no longer in business.  Hopefully he is well.

It may be a supply chain issue. The past six months has been a nightmare.

Good point.  Fine Accoutrements has not been able to restock some aftershaves because it cannot get bottles.

I’m surprised there isn’t more talk here about this. His site is down now, so I’m guessing it’s not a stock issue.

My favorites: Colonia Mediterranea and Lavandula Bleu in Glide.

Real bummer. The Oliva was excellent for my skin, particularly this time of year. Was hoping to stash some backups.

Guess he's retired - I asked about him at another site & crickets there as well.  I feel bad that I haven't supported all the vendors enough, but the explosion of wet shaving has caused an over-population I fear.  And I have backup soaps to last till me grandbabies stop shaving

His site was still up, with no inventory, when I last checked on 12/9. It looks like he may be out of business.  I thought CRSW was one of the best artisan soaps.  I hope Larry is well.

Larry is still in business. He is in the middle of changing website hosts and ran into technical issues. He should be back up and running early next year.

I asked this very thing on another forum today. So happy to hear CRSW will be back up in the new year. I can’t wait to stock up!! My absolute favorite artisan soap.

Good to hear Larry is ok and will be up and running next year.

Unfortunately I have so many soaps in my collection that I don’t support CRSW with my money any longer.

I still have 8-10 unopened CRSW shaving soaps, so can’t see myself buying more soaps in the near future.

CRSW is still in my Top 3 best performing shaving soaps.

I forgot the amount of shaving soaps I still have.

Discovered an unopened 2014 version B&M Fougere Aromatique I had forgotten all about. Smells great. Still performs fantastic.

To my surprise saw that I own 18 unopened B&M shaving soaps.

The artisan makers run into these problems with us - we buy and buy, then stop buying for years since shaving soaps last a looong time.

Look forward to hearing from Larry in 2022.

Good news for sure. I was concerned about where I was going to get another good lavender as my CRSW lavender is just about used up.
