I saw that Bullgoose had a three band for $119 and a two band for $165. Is the 3 band better than the two band? I prefer a soft brush with minimal backbone, which would you suggest. Thank you.

3 band. I have them both. The 2 band has more backbone. If you like minimal backbone, the 3 ring is the way to go.

I think you’re good to go with the silvertip 3 band based on what you want.

I recently bought the Thater 26mm 3 band. It’s got super soft tips, just right density and excellent flow through. Backbone is ideal for creams, soft soaps and hard soaps. Simply outstanding. imo it is superior to the 2 band. Caveat, I have owned only one Thater 2 band and one Thater 3 band, so my experience is limited. But based on my experience, the three band is a delight!

Thank you for your insights! I went with a 26 fan super 3 band. You helped me to choose which route to go.
