Fatip il Grosso

Fatip came out with il Grosso and, from what I have seen so far, I believe to be an improvement to the older models. In the sense that tolerances are tighter and they eliminated the huge gap between the bottom of the posts and top plate.

I am curious if any member here got one and maybe they would post a review with close-up pictures.

Well... maybe I shouldn't say eliminated but greatly reduced that gap. I can see it is still there.

I'm a long time Fatip fan and willingly overlook any "issues" they may have. I have a drawer full and have gifted many to friends and relatives. I've never seen one that wouldn't deliver a great shave.

I've enjoyed the couple Fa Tips I've used, still have an OC Slant .. but never heard of "Il Grosso" - is it a brand new model or yet to be introduced over here?

I've seen them reviewed overseas (Italy) but haven't seen any available here. It looks like a solid brass handle about the size of a Muhle or Edwin Jagger. I'll bet some show up shortly.
