First shave with a Gillette Slim

In my rotation, which includes Old and New Type Gillettes, a Red Tip, and a gold Aristocrat, I keep thinking this one or that is my favourite. Generally I prefer open combs. But the Gillette Slim blows them all out of the water. What a great razor.

I had kinda the opposite experience with the Slim.  I got one, thinking it'd be the bee's knees, but ended up liking the Flare Tip and Fat Boy better.  I keep the Slim in my rotation, anyway, though... just because James Bond used one in Goldfinger.

Well, I tend to get enthusiastic about my latest purchase, but the Slim does feel nice in the hand and has good heft. I had no idea James Bond used it in Goldfinger. I need to get a Fatboy.
