This is great for a less-than-perfect shave. Or, even for those occasional down right terrible shaves.

I mix them about 50-50 and use it as after shave.

The Thayers Medicated SuperHazel contains Peppermint, Camphor, Calendula, Eucalyptus, and Clove…and of course Witch Hazel. Does a fine job of healing those little nicks, or eliminating redness.

I’m not really in love with the scent, and that’s why I dilute it. But, some will likely find it quite pleasant, and then you can use it straight.

The Medicated Superhazel caught my attention, but I don't see it on the Thayer website.  Is it a current production item?

Hmmm.  Not sure.  I picked this up at the drug store recently, and they have a full shelf of them.

(I live in Canada, but I doubt that would affect things)

I have a very old bottle of the medicated super hazel.  So I did some searching -

Thayers appears to be going through a re-branding exercise with the new red caps - and that product is now called "Thayers Medicated Skin Irritation Relief Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera" - or at least that's the one with Camphor - but it doesn't appear online that I could find.

Nowadays, they have all kinds of different flavors - Lemon, Rose, Cucumber, Lavender etc... and have branched out into deodorants, shaving cream and aftershave balms.
