Hello all,
Looking around the internet for more places to trade learnings on wet shaving - I have a bit of an emotional connection to the English made, Rhodium plated Gillette Aristocrat.
In a time before YouTube when the internet was still in its infancy, there was nobody in my life to teach me to shave... this has been a skill and an interest developed on my own, one of those things we generally learn from someone else, I've had to make my own way in the world.
Currently a big fan of keeping things basic but effective, Stirling's very plain "Naked and Smooth" shaving soap has replaced all the gels and nice smelling creams I once used.
Another place to learn and to exchange information! I'll be pleased to contribute some vintage carbon steel blades to the exchange here!
