I received a small bottle of The Tragedy of Lord George for Christmas and fell in love... first time leaving my flat this year (my job is fully remote and I look after my wife whose health is not the best - some days are better than others) was a shopping trip including visiting a Penhaligons location.

After spending more than I'd like to admit, we left with six scents, 3 each.

Any other big fans?

My wife and I visited the Penhaligan’s shop at the World Trade Center in 2019, before the world shut down. We didn’t buy anything, but I remember the day fondly. I like the name of your new love!

I'd probably leave with six cents too if I visited a shop like that.

Seriously, Penhaligon's makes incredible stuff.

The location visit is certainly an experience worth having.

Lord George is battling with Racquets (new scent of Penhaligons - reminds me of something cheap I wore in my wilder, younger years) for the title of the favourite.

They also go rather well together.

I really want to try the Sartorial.  I'v had English Fern and sampled the Bayolea, those were real nice.

I have Sartorial, Endymion, Opus,Quercus, Blenheim Bouquet, Castile, Levantium, and Hammam Bouquet. All are well done. Opus is a little weak. My favorite is probably Sartorial. English Fern was very nice, shouldn’t have let that one go. My wife really likes the Levantium so that’s a common date night go to.

Penhaligon's is a shadow of its former self now. I am a big fan of early 2000s Hammam Bouquet and English Fern.
