What’s your birth quarter?

Reading another thread got me to thinking about this one. Plain and simple, what’s your birth quarter in Gillette nomenclature? Do you own any examples of birth quarter Gillettes? I’m currently 4/5 and looking for a good example Blue Tip. If you were born pre date codes, you could still approximate. If you’re born post codes, then,,, good for you

My birth quarter is K1.  Closest thing I have is the 59 Fatboy.  E3 I believe it is.

Edit: Correction, I just looked and it's an E4.

What do you mean by 4/5?
I'm U4, but have a U1 I call my conception razor lol.
Only birth razor I have is a U4 black handle SS.

My birth code is A2 but closest razor I've found is an A1 Super Speed Flair Tip.

Yes, I’ve admired that Fatboy in your SOTD photos. It seems to have much of it’s paint intact. Nice

Sorry, that was obtuse of me. I now have 4 of the 5 razors Gillette made in 1959. Waiting on a Blue Tip

Stay the course, Stan. Your patience will be rewarded. Assuming of course, this is even a “thing” for you. I like stuff, and it’s easier (i.e., cheaper) and almost as much fun to acquire razors (and brushes!) as guitars.

Pedro, when you refer to a Black Beauty, do you mean the Super Adjustable, or the black handle Super Speed? I’m never quite sure which razor guys are talking about. I remember years ago someone posted what seemed to be a definitive answer, but just don’t recall now.

Not often. I've got 125+ last count, so if I go through a rotation I'll probably only use them a couple times a year. 
That said, I reach for what I'm in the mood for, so my D2 executive gets its unfair share of at least once a week.

Not much available due to the onset of the Korean War .. W-3 Black Tips, I have two, one each with the steel handle and this one in aluminum.  They are milder than my usual preference but do make an annual (at least) appearance !   Not sure what else was available that had a date code ..
