With Williams Mug Soap being officially discontinued, according to multiple sources, it makes a guy wonder which vintage soap is next…

I don't use Williams or Arco but tried them both in the past and understand their appeal. There is much to be said for a basic, modestly priced shaving soap which performs well. I prefer Arco in the red bowl to Williams.

Did some quick research on cheaper shave soaps/creams in case it might help and came up with these names and I'm sure there are others. I have not tried any of them except Arko which since I've learned how to lather it really like.
Derby, Godrej, Arko, LaToja, Speick, Lea, Palmolive

Speick and Palmolive were both great but Speick has been reformulated and I think Palmolive has been discontinued.
