Travel and Cologne: decant, or try solid cologne options?

The past few trips I’ve taken, I’ve just not taken any cologne - but I find that I miss it. Solid cologne options lead me to believe that they aren’t ready for prime time (not long lasting, very minimal strength and projection). Watched a video on decanting - and it seems to be pretty straightforward to fill a tiny bottle and take it in my 3-1-1 kit.

How common is this for the folks on this forum? Any issues traveling internationally with cologne (as it’s flammable)?

I've never traveled with decanted cologne.  However, I have traveled with alcohol based aftershaves decanted into the small travel size (3.4 oz) bottles.  It's never been a problem with TSA.

I have had TSA confiscate a tub of artisan shaving soap.

Thanks Primo - I purchased one from Amazon, and it was very simple to decant. The container provided a swappable non-atomizer top for the source bottle which made transferring some cologne quite easy.
