Orchids in the Wild

While much of the country is still in the midst of winter, here in Miami we regularly find orchids in the wild in our yard.  I walked by this one today and almost missed seeing it nestled in dense vegetation.

Sorry, no pic but even in wintery Connecticut, the crocus have started to bloom. The robins returned last week. Spring has sprung.

Today in Connecticut after a 73 degree day this week, we will have some snow... has it ever snowed in Miami?
