Gillette Platinum

Phil is running a sale on these so I thought I would give them a try again, its been so long I can't remember much about them. With things going like they are it's increasingly hard to predict what the future holds as far as availability. I'll give these a shot in an Old Type with some vintage Williams or some Tabac and see how they go.

They’re excellent blades, Bill. Part of a solid blade rotation. For me, they are smooth and sharp. Sort of like a combination of personna platinum chrome and personna med prep, two blades I prefer over all others.

Thanks Charlie, I'm a fan of both of those Personna blades also so it sounds like these are right in my wheelhouse.

Absolutely spot on Charlie! I just ordered another 100, that first pass was the stuff of legends. Great shave followed by some vintage Skin Bracer, and I'm basking in the glow.
