Hi there! I got a second hand sailor that I've been enjoying. It is a lot more efficient/aggressive than expected but I love that. My go to razor is a rex ambassador deluxe on setting 6. This is also very smooth along with its efficiency.

Is the rocnel sailor normally an aggressive shaver? Even on setting 3?

The dot doesn't seem to line up perfectly when a blade is in like it's supposed to (pic included). I do have the cap on correctly. [Image: da330aa9ce82d023abbcc13875b5c5c3.jpg][Image: be80c278e8ee25e0f776a5da29b1578b.jpg]

A 2021 Rocnel Sailor Master Collection is my current obsession these days as well.

The alignment of these razors isn't always perfect...they can sometimes show a variance of a couple of mm.
But they work very well.

I personally find them smooth as any fixed-gap premium razor like Wolfman, and usually I get fabulous shaves at the 2
setting.

And to think I used to be one of those guys who always had to use a high gapped wolfman like 1.55mm to get
any joy.

The Rocnel constantly reminds me that geometry means so much more than gap.
