I've got over 125 razors, and was thinking about how I'm going to whittle it down eventually, converting the majority to the Porsche fund
I've got it to 15 keepers, all Gillette in no particular order:
Rhodium Executive
Executive Fatboy
Hybrid Tech
President
1934 Aristocrat
No. 88
French import No. 15
Regent Tech
Toggle
Psycho
New Improved Tiffany set
ABC Empire set
Khaki set
1946 Milord Christmas set
Big Boy
Could you do it? What's your list look like?

PAA DOC Ascension Twist stainless
1959 Fatboy
1954 Flair Tip
Pre 51 Super Speed
Being working class poor has it's advantages.
I could live with a 1940's style Super Speed as my only razor. As much as I appreciate and enjoy the modern, machined, stainless steel razors, the mechanical aspect of the Super Speed appeals to me.

Agreed. The "butterfly" razor drew me to the hobby, and still my favorite. Simply mechanical marvels, and so impressive to me. The 34 aristocrat was their first tto razor, in the top 3 number one's I have lol!

^^^ is that like a "prewar" flat bottom?
Yes. It’s really a Frankenrazor. It’s a prewar style contract Tech head on an early 50s handle from a Canadian made Tech.

I was in a similar boat 10 years ago. I had hundreds of razors including a couple bottom dials, a serial number toggle and a couple “chrome” toggles. I ended up selling almost everything other than 10-15 razors. Honestly I don’t miss them too much and am glad I sold them as they would’ve just been sitting in storage. I also always feared when I kick the bucket my family would either junk them or sell the whole collection for $20.
