Back in 2013 when we designed the Asylum Rx, we also designed a smaller head version that takes standard injector blades. We had a resin prototype made of the smaller razor but never pursued it further. That is, until now.
Here is a sneak peak of what we are tentatively calling the INheRiR 3000. I have included a few comparison shots.

Thanks for seeing it along.
Thank you Max. I just finished my first shave with the prototype and I am really happy with how it performed. I had two days worth of growth and want to see how it follows up tomorrow with normal growth. It is definitely nimble.

Any idea of what it's weight might turn out to be?
The INheRiR weighs 99g (3.5 Oz) unloaded.
I enjoy my injectors most of all and was disappointed that only Supply has attempted to do anything with them. The Minigoose was a very good try, but as I prefer razors with a combined weight of less than 60g it turned out to be too heavy.
I wish you much success with the introduction of this beauty!

You could hollow out the handle but, that would throw off the balance.(04-19-2022, 11:58 AM)bullgoose Wrote:Thanks Phil!(04-19-2022, 09:16 AM)hillbillyreverend Wrote: what a beauty!

I don’t think anyone else is doing this now. Supply seems to have completely embraced zamak. As far as I can see there are no longer stainless steel razors shown. This is from their website:
Why Alloy?
Our razors are made from die-cast zinc alloy, coated with aerospace grade PVD chrome. It let's us offer you multiple finishes on your Single Edge razor.

Perfect. I just approved the prototype today and we are moving ahead to production. I should be ready to release them by late June.
