This is a pickup from today: an OC razor of unknown make, coming in a flip-top case very similar to the Gillette Brownie.

It appears to have an anodised silver (plate); it shone up beautifully. It is clearly based on the Old Type.

The inside lid says “British Manufacture”; the baseplate “British Made”.

The underside of the case has a stamp, but I can’t make it out.

Anyone seen one? A first for me.

Interesting layout on the teeth, which look to be in beautiful condition. It looks like a great shaver, is the handle solid?

Yes, it is a solid, quite heavy little handle. It is all in beautiful condition for something that is 100 years old, yes.
