Every time I go to reply or make a posting, I have to log in. Anyone else the same? Puts me off. Is this why there is less activity to this forum?

Never an issue for me. Can't remember but I believe there is a spot you can check to keep you logged in. If so, make sure you're checking it.

As for traffic, more people tend to gravitate to the crap show that is Facebook. Been there, got the t shirt, won't go back. Happy right here without the drama and BS. If FB ever disappeared, you would see a flood back to the forums.

I stay logged in unless I delete the cookies.

Yes, I’ve found that if you delete browsing history on an iPad the same thing happens. But when I sign in it’s only once. I stay signed in.

My wife does facebook. I’ve seen it, but have zero interest in the place. I don’t care whether or not Joe Shmoe is at the local diner reading the newspaper and eating his EDITED breakfast that he could make at home for pennies on the dollar.

Yes, this is correct. When logging in check the box. I tried it and it worked. Let us know how it works for you, Roy 

This sounds like a cookie issue (not that I have any issues with cookies, only the lack of them...)

Some browsers can be set to automagically remove cookies - either in the browser or by an extension. It can be a nice way to keep the system clean, but can also cause issues like having to log on to a site repeatedly.
