I recently purchased an Ever Ready 1912 in what I would consider 9/10 condition (no case and scratches, but no brassing). I have had some experience with 1912s in the past, but I have recently enjoyed using this razor and have been getting a good shave. It takes more passes than a DE I have noticed. I also think the lack of brassing makes the shaving experience smoother. I have been using Treet blades as I have found them to be the sharpest, though as a carbon blade, they last at most, 3 shaves. The SS coated last longer, but are not as sharp IMO. Some people think SEs are aggressive (and some of them are) due to the large blade exposure, but the 1912 has been a very smooth shaver.

I think this is a great razor considering it cost about $20.

That’s a great looking razor. It looks to be in excellent condition. The handle is one of the most attractive in all of Shavedom, imo. Seeing yours, I’m a bit sorry to have let mine go. But only a bit Wink Thanks for sharing and enjoy your shaves.
